The first annual Casey Morsell Skills Academy was hosted at the Halifax Community Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.  This one-day camp was a sellout, consisting of 70 campers ranging from ages 7 to 16.  The best way to describe the atmosphere at the Skills Academy is iron sharpening iron. 

Meaning that each of the campers were connected and made each other better. Most importantly, they had the chance to connect with some of their favorite Wolfpack players and receive high-level coaching.  

The coaching staff for the 2023 Skills Academy included: Mimi Collins (NC State, Player), Kai Crutchfield (NC State, Former Player), Breon Pass (NC State, Player), Jordan Snell (NC State, Player), KJ Keatts (NC State, Player), Torin Dorn (NC State, Former Player), Rudy Mays (NC State, Player Development), and Rashad “Coach Pooh” Herndon (Raleigh Boys and Girls, Athletic Director).
